DMSC SENSOR SPECIFICATIONS

Our DMSC-MK2 sensor was made by SpecTerra Ltd. in Australia. Some specifics and advantages of this sensor are:

- Portability: main unit measures approximately 9x9x12 inches and is controlled via a laptop interface. 24V DC or 114V AC power source can be derived either directly from the aircraft or from batteries (draw is <10Amps).

- 12-Bit Radiometric Resolution: allows very broad brightness range for diverse substrate conditions with extremely high signal-to-noise ratio.

- Customizable Channel Wavelengths: Interference filters are used to select each of the 4 channels’ spectral range. This allows customization of the channel combinations to maximize detection or separation capabilities for specific substrates.

- Customizable Spatial Resolution: the DMSC can be flown at any altitude above approximately 1800’, resulting in spatial data resolutions of 25cm to 2+m. Successful data acquisitions are possible under clouds, thus lessening the dependence on clear weather.
